Our Pressure Area Awareness course provides the learners with an understanding of the importance of skin care and how to reduce the risk of pressure development.

The course gives a basic understanding of what a pressure sore / ulcer is and how to identify the signs and symptoms of pressure ulcer / sore development so as remedial action can be taken.

This course also looks at the importance of preventing any damage to the skin by pressure and focus on the industry standard prevention method.

This course is suitable for both qualified and unqualified staff.
