Mental Capacity Awareness

Anyone working in the Health and Social Care Sector must have an awareness of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005. The Act aims to empower and protect people who may not be able to make some decisions for themselves. It also enables people to plan ahead in case they are unable to make important decisions for themselves in the future.

Our Mental Capacity Assessment course focus on the implications of the Mental Capacity Act and how to implement it in a care setting.

This introductory course is aimed at frontline staff and team leaders in care, health and related services.

  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard
  • Combined DOLs and MCA course
